Name: Megan Jennifer Anderson Age: Twenty-two Gender: Female Desired Position: Teacher Model Claim:
Olesya Rulin
Personality:
Megan is a very friendly woman, caring for her students as though they were blood. She tries to make things intresting in class, taking suggestions from students. There is almost all ways a smile on her face, and she tries to stay joyful. She can be talkative at times, but at others she's strangely quiet. Mostly anyone would be able to make friends with Megan, if they wished it. Not one for fighting, she tries to stay away from enemies she chances to have.
A bookworm, she is all ways caught grading schoolwork or reading some thick book in-between classes. The books are normally romance novels or fiction, and she finishes over 700 page books in about a week, depending on how intrested she is. Sometimes she becomes so caught up in her book she doesn't realize class has started, and a student needs to remind her to start teaching. Her passion, besides teaching Transfiguration, has all ways involved literature. She writes as a pass-time, just as much as reading.
History:
Megan grew up in Russia during her youth, living in a small home without even a simple stove - just a conventional oven. Her mother was a muggle, and her father was a wizard. When she began showing signs of being a witch, her father finally spilled the beans to her mother. She was furious for not telling him, but seeing as she had all ways been amazed at magic and wizardry in her youth, finally finding someone who truly could do such, her anger wore off.
When she turned eleven, a note came: She was headed for Brecker Academy. After some shopping, finally Megan was accepted as a Catain. She made many friends, and romances occured. With all the studying she did in her fifth and seventh year, she passed her OWLs and NEWTs with flying colors. As she finally finished school, it was clear to her that she was going to come back one day to Brecker and teach.
Finally that opportunity came two years ago, when she was offered a job as the Transfiguration teacher. She gladly accepted, and moved from her small apartment back home in Russia to an apartment in Bristol. She enjoyed her teaching immensly, and as her third year of teaching begins she is just as excited as ever.
Appearance:
Megan is a terribly short witch, only placing at about 5'1". She can appear rather frail, because of her size. Her hair is a brunette shade, reaching to just about shoulder-length. She styles it in many different ways, most often curling it though. Her eyes are a starting light blue, flecked with green.
Her features are rather delicate, and give her a playful look when she smiles. But when she gets serious, she can be quite frightening, the smile gone. But this never lasts long, and she'll come back to her gentle, smiling self.
Roleplay Sample:
Megan sat at the desk in the front of the room, a rather large book in her hands. She was simply shedding time until class started, about five minutes or so. A small orange kitten raced around the desks and tables, chasing a dustbunny. Peeking over her book to examine the feline, the professor gave a chuckle.
The place had a homey feel about it, with a clean area and the Jasmine candle burning on the desk providing a wonderful smell. With a sigh and a smile Megan returned once more into her book. Ina, the kitten, finally lost intrest in the dust bunny and padded over to the desk, preparing to pounce. Suddenly the cat shot up, landing on a pile of papers resting on the wood. The papers shot around the room, luckily avoiding the candle. Groaning, Megan set down the book and took out her wand. "Accio Papers." she muttered, and the papers assembled themselves neatly on the desk.
Chuckling, she pat the confused kitten on the head and returned to her book, waiting.
